Bajaj's much-anticipated bike, Dominar 400 has been launched by the company this year. New Delhi has an X showroom price of 1.4 lakh rupees while its ABS variant costs Rs 1.55 lakh.

Bajaj had claimed during its launch that this bike would reign in the Performance Motorcycle Segment for the next 10 years. Bajaj is going ahead with the aim of selling 10,000 units of this bike every month. However, in India, Dominars is able to sell almost 2,000 Dominar bikes every month.

In September 2017, Bajaj
sold bikes around 2000 in the domestic market. Despite this, it has got a special achievement in the name of the bike. Actually, Dominar Bike has exported more bikes than the domestic market. If you look at September data, you will find that more than 4,500 units of Bajaj Dominar have been exported. On the other hand, Royal Enfield's sales are constantly booming. Last month, Royal Enfield sold 70,431 units.

Bajaj's positioning of Dominar is such that it has entered the market to rival Royal Enfield bullet. In the past, on the social media, three videos related to Bajaj's Dominar were found in which the Royal Enfield bullet was shown to be low.

Talking about Dominar, this bike was unveiled at the Concept Model Auto Expo 2014. It features full digital instrument console, stylus radiator, muscular fuel tank, stubby silencer, LED taillight strips etc. Two variants of this bike are available in the market.
