The launch of new bikes has come out in the Indian auto market, while Bajaj Auto is in a lot of discussion about its new scooter. It will be launched during an event on 16 October in Delhi. The ceremony will also be attended by two special guests, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari and Neeti Yoga CEO Amitabh Kant. This scooter is also considered special for Bajaj Auto because it will be the company's first electric scooter. However, the company has not yet given any information about this scooter. According to media reports, Bajaj's new electric scooter will be launched under the Urbanite brand. And its name will be 'Chetak Chic' and the name has been registered by the company.

It is to be noted that Bajaj's new electric scooter will come with many modern features. Many of its pictures have also been leaked on the social platform before the launch. Its design can be similar to the company's old scooter which will be reminiscent of the scooters with retro look. According to the leaked photo, it will get features such as wide front apron, curved side panel and large rearview mirror. Apart from this, it can get alloy wheels, front and rear disc brakes and LED headlamps and tail lamps.

Talking about the features, it is likely that the new model will get an integrated braking system (IBS), features such as digital instrument panel, odometer, trip meter, navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and battery range will prove useful. Bajaj Auto will make this electric scooter available in several phases. In the first phase, the company will make it available in its home town Pune and Bangalore, after which the scooter will be made available for sale to other cities of the country. Experts believe that the price of this scooter can be around one lakh rupees.
