Bajaj Auto is developing several new motorbikes to capitalise on the increased demand for automobiles in India over the festive season. The new Pulsar 250 will be part of the company's new range. The firm has also been photographed testing the new Pulsar 250 motorcycle, which will be the brand's largest Pulsar model.

The spy photos show a semi-faired design with a mid-size front fairing, projector headlight, telescopic front forks, alloy wheels, and monoshock rear suspension on the upcoming Pulsar. The next Pulsar 250 might be built on a brand-new basis. Bajaj Auto may not go for the steel perimeter frame used in the current options but instead, choose something more rigid and light.

It's rumoured to have a 250cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine. A 6-speed constant mesh gearbox might also be an option for the transmission. This engine's total power and torque outputs are estimated to be about 28 PS and 20 NM. Official information has yet to be released.

In terms of pricing, the firm is expected to price the new Pulsar 250 aggressively in order to compete with rival quarter-litre products. It's likely to cost approximately 1.50 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). The Suzuki Gixxer 250, KTM 200 Duke, and Yamaha FZ25 are all possible competitors. Apart from the new Pulsar 250, Bajaj Auto is also gearing up for the introduction of the new-gen KTM RC range in India later this year.
