Mumbai: The festival of Guru Purnima is an occasion to show faith and dedication to your guru. Meanwhile, in the Shiv Sena, on the occasion of Guru Purnima, there is a dispute among the disciples of Balasaheb Thackeray. If someone is questioning the integrity, someone says that it is he who is taking forward the legacy of Balasaheb Thackeray. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde shared a post this morning with photos of Balasaheb Thackeray and Anand Dighe. In it, he wrote in Marathi, "No cheating from Balasaheb's thoughts. It is not an extinguishing embar, no idea other than Hindutva. Happy Guru Purnima.''

It was on this tweet that he had indirectly attacked Uddhav Thackeray by talking about the idea of Hindutva. He has often accused Uddhav Thackeray and his supporters of deviating from the Hindutva ideology. Sanjay Raut also responded in his own style to this tweet of Eknath Shinde. "Some people leave shiv sena and say that Balasaheb Thackeray is our guru. Hitting out at the CM, Sanjay Raut said that if Balasaheb had been alive today, he would have replied to such people in his own style. Balasaheb Thackeray was the guru of all of us. Balasaheb was the guru of all those who are loyal to the Shiv Sena, Maharashtra and the country. Sanjay Raut has also said that being loyal with him is the real Gurudakshina.

Earlier, Sanjay Raut had also shared a photo of himself with Balasaheb Thackeray and tweeted, "He's the guru and he's the Gurur.''
