The television show 'Balika Vadhu' fame Surekha Sikri has been in the limelight for some time because of her health. Some time ago, it was reported that Surekha Sikri was battling the brain stroke. Due to brain stroke, Surekha Sikri fainted in her home. Thereafter, Surekha Sikri was admitted to the critical care hospital in Mumbai. Surekha Sikri had was admitted to ICU.

There have been reports that Surekha Sikri has recovered and returned home. Talking to media, Dr Ashutosh Shetty said that Surekha Sikri has been discharged 2 days ago. Now she is better than before. A nurse has been arranged at Surekha Sikri's house, and she takes care of her. Surekha Sikri is recovering rapidly. In this regard, Dr Ashutosh Shetty further said that Surekha Sikri is also able to walk with the help of support. Surekha Sikri will have to undergo physiotherapy before starting the work. Fans are happy to hear Surekha Sikri's recovery. 

Some time ago, doctors had released a statement that Surekha Sikri's body was not responding to the treatment. Talking to media during that time, Dr Ashutosh Shetty had said, "There is a blood clot in Surekha Sikri's brain. The condition of Surekha Sikri has deteriorated due to this blood clot". But now she is completely fine and she has returned home.
