Bangalore: Controversies are also being added from the beginning with the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' being taken out by Congress to bring its lost political ground. In a major setback, a Bengaluru court has ordered the blocking of the Congress and its 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' Twitter handle. The court's order came after MRT Music Company filed a complaint regarding the copyright infringement case of songs of 'KGF Chapter 2'.

In fact, MRT Music Company had alleged that the marketing videos made by the Congress for 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' have used the song of their film KGF-2. MRT Music had on Friday (November 4) lodged an FIR at Yeshwantpur police station against former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, former Union minister Jairam Ramesh and party functionary Supriya Shrinate under the Copyright Act, Information Technology Act and IPC. In the hearing held on Monday (November 7), the court issued an order saying that it has been proved by the petitioner through the CD that its original version has been used with some minor changes. The court has held that such marketing videos promote piracy.

The court has further said in its order that the videos in which these songs have been used should be deleted from the Twitter handle of the Congress and 'Bharat Jodo Yatra'. At the same time, the court has also ordered to block the Twitter handle of both. At the same time, reacting to this matter, Congress has said that they were not aware of the hearing in the copyright infringement case. In a tweet made from the official Twitter handle of Congress, it has been said that 'We have read on social media in relation to a Bengaluru court order against the Congress and the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' Twitter account. We were neither informed about the court proceedings nor were we present there. We have not received any copy of the order. We will use all possible legal processes.'
