Dhaka:  Series to be played between India and Bangladesh. Bangladeshi cricketers have refused to play for the team. The players have refused to participate in any kind of cricketing activity, demanding an increase in salary. All the players of the team have gone on strike and have demanded a raise from the Bangladesh Cricket Board. Bangladesh cricket team's tour of India seems to be in trouble. On Monday, all the players of the national team decided to go on strike.

The players of the team have placed a demand to increase salary in front of the Bangladesh Cricket Board and have decided to stay away from any kind of cricketing activity till the decision comes. This boycott has been announced by the top players of the team. This includes big names like Test and T20 team captain Shakib Al Hasan, wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah.

At a press conference, 50 cricketers from the country put up their demands against the board. All of them have decided to boycott national cricket until the demand is met. Team opener Tamim Iqbal spoke to the media. During the press conference, he said, "We should respect the local coaches, physios and ground staff. Very little salary is paid towards the end of their month." The Board of Control for Cricket in India has refused to speak on this for the time being.
