West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh on Tuesday categorically denied permission to Bangladesh Muslims to stay in India. His statement came after a ruckus in the country over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Citizenship Registration (NRC), in which he has cleared his stand. After which he further said that there are 2 crore, Bangladeshi infiltrators in India.

According to media reports, in his address during a rally, he said, "Two crore Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators have entered India, one crore in West Bengal and one crore are in different parts of the country. We will not allow them to stay here. If his name is in the voter list then it will be removed. This rally was held in the North 24 Parganas district." He said, '50 lakh Muslim infiltrators will be identified, they will be driven out of the country if needed.'

On another matter, West Bengal BJP President Dilip Ghosh says that our government is committed to implementing the National Register of Citizens (NRC) across the country. He claimed that one crore illegal Bangladeshi Muslims are living in West Bengal alone. After the NRC is implemented, these intruders will be sent back to their country.
