Kolkata: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested the Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen (JMB) terrorist from the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. NIA has nabbed JMB terrorist Abdul Manna from Subhashgram. Sources say he came to Bengal from Bangladesh 2 years ago. He had also created fake Aadhaar cards and voter IDs. NIA has arrested the terrorist on the basis of special information.

In the past, terrorists have been arrested from Murshidabad, Malda and South 24 Parganas in West Bengal. Acting on a special intelligence input, the NIA has nabbed the terrorist this morning. NIA officials say the terrorist had direct contact with Bangladesh militants. His name was revealed after questioning the arrested terrorists a few days ago.

Three JMB operators Naziur Rahman Powell, Mical Khan and Rabiul Islam were arrested by Kolkata STF, the Kolkata police force. He was living in the Behla area of South 24 Parganas. On the other hand, Powell used the Hindu name Jairam Bepari to hide his identity. He and Mikal Khan alias Sheikh Sabbir befriended two Hindu women in the Haridevpur area and planned to get married. This would have helped them recruit more people without creating doubts.
