The ED has once again taken strict action. In fact, recently the ED has seized properties worth crores of rupees belonging to the son-in-law of film actors Dino Morea, Sanjay Khan, DJ Akil and Ahmed Patel. The entire case is said to be a sterling biotech bank scam. In fact, the ED has recently issued a statement and said, "The accused in the Sandhara Group case हैl rigged, including Dino Moria, Sanjay Khan, DJ Akil and Irrfan Ahmed Siddiqui, son-in-law of Congress leader Ahmed Patel." As per the information received, the ED has seized property worth Rs 8.79 crore under the Money Laundering Act and is said to be a case involving the Sandhara Group case.
Property worth Rs 14521.80 crore has been seized so far. Giving details of the entire case, the ED says, "Sanjay Khan's assets worth Rs 3 crore, Dino Morea's assets worth Rs 1.4 crore and DJ Akil's Assets worth Rs 1.98 crore and Ahmed Patel's son-in-law Irfan Ahmed Siddiqui's Assets worth Rs 2.41 crore have been seized." At the same time, the ED also said, "The four have diverted the money of Sterling Biotech Group fugitives Nitin Sandhara and Chetan Sandhara."

The money was reportedly embezzled through hawala. Sanjay Khan is the father of Suzanne Khan and is the ex-husband of Farah Kahan Ali, sister of DJ Akil Suzanne Khan.
