New Delhi: Sometimes when we go to the bank for some urgent work, it is only after that that the bank is on leave. Then we get upset and waste both our time and money. Being busy with work makes it seem that we don't have a back-to-back holiday. Now, more than half of the month of August has passed and September is in the beginning. So, we tell you in advance when the banks will remain closed in these one-and-a-half months so that your money and valuable time is not wasted.

When will banks remain closed in August:-
- Banks will remain closed due to Independence Day on August 15.
Banks will remain closed on August 17 due to Parsi New Year. However, banks will remain closed only in the city of Mumbai on this day.
The bank will remain closed in Assam on 20th August as Mr. Madhav Dev's date is.
Banks have a holiday due to Janmashtami on 24th August and hence there will be no functioning in the bank.

When banks will remain closed in September:-
- Banks to remain closed due to Vinayak Chaturthi on September 2
- Muharram holiday will be held on 10th September
- On 11th September, Onam.
Banks will remain closed even when September 14 is the second Saturday of the month.
