Bareilly: A soul-chilling incident took place at the regional office of Bank of Baroda in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh on Friday. A man who came to the bank without a mask was shot dead by the guard. He has been admitted to a hospital where his condition is out of danger. The guard and the customer reportedly opened fire after coming to the office without a mask, after which the angry guard shot the customer with a dunali gun.

Rajesh Kumar Rathore (35), a resident of North Railway Colony near Bareilly Junction, is a helper in the telecom department. He had gone to the regional office of Bank of Baroda at Civil Lines on Friday morning. Without a mask, he entered the office. At which they got into an argument with the guard. He then returned. Again, masks were being put up inside the bank. Which was opposed by Subhashnagar resident guard Keshav Kumar.

There was a heated exchange between the two again over this. The guard shot Rajesh with his double gun. The bullet hit him in the left leg. On the information of the case, CO, Inspector Kotwali reached to the police team. The injured customer has been admitted to the district hospital. Guard Keshav Kumar has been taken into custody by the police. The guard said the dunali gun was loaded. This led to the firing. He hasn't shotted.
