New Delhi: Tackle all bank related tasks today or else you may have problems before Diwali. Actually, there is going to be a strike in banks on 22 October (Tuesday). The All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA) and the Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI) have announced a nationwide bank strike on October 22 to protest the merger of 10 state-owned banks into four large banks.

It is noteworthy that this week is the festival of Dhanteras and Diwali. Due to which, on 26, 27, 28, 29 October, the bank will be closed for four consecutive days. This will be due to the fourth Saturday of the month and the Diwali holidays. In this case, keeping in mind the needs related to cash, deposit and withdrawal, if you tackle them beforehand, then you will be comfortable. Let us know that in the last August, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the Mahavillay plan of 10 state-run banks, after which the number of public sector banks in the country will be reduced from the current 27 to 12.

Nirmala Sitharaman has said that it is necessary to have next-generation banks in the coming 5 years to make the country an economy of five trillion dollars.
