Singer and music composer Bappi Lahiri, a veteran singer of the Indian film industry, is currently infected with the Coronavirus. The singer is undergoing treatment at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. At the time, Bappi Lahiri's son Bappa has shared the information of the father's health with the media.

According to the information received, Bappa has said that 'father's condition is now better than before, he has started drinking tea. Our family members are connected to Father through a call. It all started when father started to feel a little cold. After that, we got his corona tested which came out positive. We were very worried about him. But now his health is fine and he is recovering very fast'. Bappa said that after the father got infected, he got a corona check of every member of the house, but none of the tests came out positive which is a matter of great relief.

As soon as his father's health deteriorated, Bappa came to Mumbai from America. Talking about this, he said that "It was purely accidental that I came here and my father got infected". When I moved from America, my father was very healthy. But as soon as I reached Mumbai, my father fell ill. Bappa Lahiri further said, 'On Wednesday, mild corona infections were found in his body. There is already a lung problem, in which case there is more concern'.
