New Delhi: Senior advocate Prashant Bhushan's trouble are not reducing. A week ago, the apex court convicted him of criminal contempt for tweeting against the judiciary and fined him a rupee as punishment. While this sentence of the Supreme Court was considered symbolic, many people described it as a victory for Prashant.

Now the Bar Council of India (BCI) has also issued an inquiry order in this matter. The BCI has said that tweets made by Prashanth on the judiciary will be thoroughly tested. Lawyers and the Regulatory Institute of Legal Education BCI said on Friday that it has ordered an inquiry into the matter in the Bar Council of Delhi and asked it to decide on the matter as per law and rules.

Let us tell you that Prashant Bhushan is included in Delhi Bar Council as a lawyer. Under Section 24A of the Advocates Act, a lawyer can be disqualified from legal practice for two years if found guilty of an offense related to moral corruption. The Bar Council said that the General Council on Thursday discussed the verdict of the three judges of the apex court - Judge Arun Mishra, Judge BR Gavai and Judge Krishna Murari, in which Bhushan was found guilty and he was given a symbolic fine for showing generosity.
