Barbie Box Office Day 15: Barbie and Oppenheimer continue to reign in Indian theaters, captivating audiences with their charm. On its 15th day of release, the film starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling struggled to maintain its momentum at the Indian Box Office, raking in approximately Rs.70 lakh on 4th August. This brings the total collection of the movie to an impressive Rs.39.15 crore, according to media reports. In stark contrast, Oppenheimer remains steadfast in its performance, collecting a noteworthy Rs.2.60 crore on Day 15, summing up to Rs.105.30 crore in total Indian Box Office earnings, as reported by India Today.

Barbie boasts an ensemble cast, with Margot Robbie in the titular role and Ryan Gosling as the charming Ken. The movie revolves around the world-famous dolls, featuring several other talented actors as various "Barbies" and "Kens," including Hari Nef, a transgender actress from Philadelphia, who brilliantly portrays one of the Barbies.

While Oppenheimer celebrates its victory in India, Barbie has shattered records on a global scale. The film is well on its way to achieving the remarkable milestone of reaching the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office, as stated by Collider. Having already crossed the $900 million mark on Thursday, media reports anticipate that the film will hit the coveted $1 billion milestone by the end of its third weekend. Director Gerwig's groundbreaking achievement as the first female filmmaker to witness such a massive opening weekend only hints at the potential for more records to be broken.

Meanwhile, after a three-week delay due to potential content concerns, the United Arab Emirates has finally given its approval for the release of the Barbie movie, as per a report by Associated Press. While the officials did not elaborate on the reasons for the screening delay, audiences can now anticipate the film's screening on 10th August, as announced by Vox Cinemas, a renowned regional cinema company cited by AP. The UAE Media Council's announcement on Thursday confirmed that the Barbie movie meets all the necessary media content standards and UAE age classifications, securing its rightful place in the licensed cinemas of the Emirates.
