Today if you are thinking of making something sweet then you can make sweet rice. It's easy to make and fun to eat. Let us tell you its recipe.

Ingredients for making sweet rice-
1/2 cup basmati rice (long-grained rice)
2 tbsp ghee
1/2 inch long piece of cinnamon
2 cloves
2 green cardamom
1/3 cup sugar (sugar)
1/4 cup water
10-15 varieties of saffron, dissolved in 1 tbsp milk
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
3 almonds, chopped
3-4 cashews, chopped
5-6 raisins
2 pistachios, chopped
2 cups of water

Method of making sweet rice- First of all, wash the basmati rice with water 3-4 times and soak them in water for 20 minutes. Boil the rice on a medium flame in a pot with 2 cups of water. Boil until the rice is 90% cooked. Do not cook until it is too soft. It will take about 8-10 minutes. It may take a little more or less time to cook the rice. Now after this, take them out in a sieve to remove the excess water from the rice. Now after this, add ghee to a heavy-bottomed pan and keep heating on a low flame. Add cinnamon, cloves and cardamom and fry for 30-40 seconds. Now add sugar and 1/4 cup of water. Mix well and let it cook for a minute. After this, add the dissolved saffron and cardamom powder. Now after this, until the sugar is dissolved, the mixture was constantly stirred with a spoon. It will take about 1-2 minutes.

Now after the sugar is dissolved, keep the mixture to boil on a medium flame. It will take about a minute. When the mixture starts boiling, add cooked rice to it. Then meet slowly. Mix it until the colour of each grain of rice turns yellow. Now reduce the heat of the gas and cover it with a lid (or plate). Cook it until all the water has dried up. It will take about 5-6 minutes. Then turn off the gas and let it cool for 7-8 minutes. Remove the lid and add almonds, cashews, raisins and pistachios. Mix well and take out the yellow rice in a serving bowl.
