Recently, a case has come to light from Gobind Colony of Bathinda Cantt where the wife of an army soldier living has been strangled to death. Police station has filed a murder case against the elder brother- in- law Ram Singh, younger brother-in-law Shyam Singh, on the statement of Lansnayak Kishanpal, a neighbor of deceased Rajni wife Gopal Singh.

According to the information received, the two accused in this case have been arrested by the police and taken into custody and Lansanayak Kishanpal told that "Soldier Gopal Singh was living inside Gobind Colony in his neighborhood with his wife Rajni. On Monday night, when the sound of crying came from the house of Gopal living in his neighborhood, he immediately went inside his house. There he saw that the corpse of the soldier's wife Rajni was lying on the bed and his brother-in-law Ram Singh and Shyam Singh were standing nearby.

The police said that the narrator said that the brother-in-law strangled the soldier's wife and then informed the police. In this case, ASI Karma Singh of Thana Cantt told that 'Police have arrested both of them by registering a murder case against accused brother-in-law Ram Singh and Shyam Singh on the statement of Lansanayak Kishanpal.'
