In fact, the Delhi High Court has also barred a martyred officer of the Delhi Police (MC Sharma) from showing the photo at the end of the film. This is because it can be told that the film is based on a fictional story. John's film is based on an encounter between police and terrorists in Delhi's Jamia area in 2008. The accused, Ariz Khan, had filed a petition in the High Court seeking a stay on the release of the film.
