Rahul Dravid to be head coach for India's tour of Sri Lanka

New Delhi: The date of Team India's visit to Sri Lanka has been announced. The Indian team will play three ODIs and the same number of T20matches in Sri Lanka. Team India will start from July 13. The final match of the team will be played on July 25. However, a formal announcement from the BCCI is yet to be made. At the same time, there is speculation that Team India may be led by Shikhar Dhawan on the tour of Sri Lanka.

Rahul Dravid will be the head coach of the Indian team on the tour. Team India head coach Ravi Shastri will be busy with Virat Kohli's team in England. Rahul Dravid will coach second-class Team India. The first ODI series between India and Sri Lanka will be played on July 13. This will be followed by the second ODI on July 16 and the third ODI on July 18.

The T20 series will begin on July 21, the second match of the series will be played on July 23 and the third on July 25. Team India last toured Sri Lanka in 2018 when they defeated Bangladesh in the final of the triangular T20 Nidhas Trophy to clinch the title.
