BCCI announces team for West Indies, Australia T20Is, MS Dhoni did not get place from both series

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday evening (October 26) declared a 15-man T20I team for the three matches against West Indies as well as for the next series against Australia. There is no place for MS Dhoni in both the lists. In absence of him Rishabh Pant will be taking up the responsibility behind the stumps. Run machine Virat Kohli will also miss out on the Windies series and Rohit Sharma will be leading the team in the three-match contest. But Kohli will be back for the Australia series. With this Rohit got third opportunity to lead the Indian team in a full series after a winning campaign in Nidahas Trophy and earlier against Sri Lanka in 2017 at home ground.

 Rohit Sharma (C), Shikhar, KL Rahul, DK, Manish, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (wk), Krunal Pandya, Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Bumrah, Khaleel Ahmed, Umesh Yadav, Shahbaz Nadeem

Here is India team for Australia T20I series:

Virat Kohli (C), Rohit (vc), Shikhar, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Manish, DK, Rishabh Pant (wk), Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Washington Sundar, Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav, Khaleel

The West Indies series will play first match on November 04 in Kolkata. The second match of the series will be played in Lucknow on November 06 while last in Chennai on November 11. On the other hand, India's tour of Australia will start next month.  A three-match T20I series will start on November 21. The remaining two matches  are slated on November 23rd and November 25th.
