BCCI ASSOCIATE WITH THREE NEW SPONSORSHIP DEALS

Apart from the positioning  title sponsorship Indian Cricket Control Board is going to create three new associate sponsorship for One day, Test and T20 internationals played in the country. This add Rs. 150 crore to the board for four years.

BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur said, the associate sponsorship deal with PepsiCo and confirmed that two more such deals are in the pipe line but can not disclose the names. With this three new deals will fetch the board Rs. 150 Cr. over four years. This will increase the revenue for the BCCI.

PepsiCo signed four year deal that will kick start from Bangladesh’s tour of India later this year will give PepsiCo on ground visibility and snacking rights in around 20 matches a year. CEO of PepsiCo India D Shivkumar said. “When PepsiCo had parted ways with IPL , we had said that we are not parting ways with BCCI. It is beginning of a new chapter in our longstanding association with BCCI.

Apart from this carmaker Hyundai and mobile handset maker Intex are in Talks for similar deals.
