New Delhi: It has been decided to suspend IPL amid the growing havoc of the corona epidemic. Corona cases have been reported in several teams in the IPL for the past few days, after which BCCI has taken the decision. The decision was taken after the team players and members were constantly infected.

During corona infection, BCCI cited a strong bio-bubble, after which only 29 matches could be held. All the matches in the stages of Chennai and Mumbai were completed. But the 30th match of the season could not be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In fact, there was already concern about the Mumbai-Sunrisers match in Delhi today, as Mumbai Indians played a match against CSK on Saturday during which Balaji came in contact with several of his players and now Sunrisers Wriddhiman Saha has been reported to be corona infected. Varun Chakraborty and Sandeep Warrier of KKR have already been found infected. It is also reported that Amit Mishra of Delhi Capitals is also infected.

Questions are being raised over the organizing of IPL in the crisis period of the corona epidemic. Three Australian players have withdrawn from IPL-14. It stars Adam Zampa, Ken Richardson, and Andrew Tye. Jampa explained the reason for leaving IPL-14 to the bio-bubble. He said that leaving bio-bubble in India does not feel as safe as it was during IPL 2020 in UAE. However, he later withdrew his statement.
