Mumbai: The board's controversial rules will discuss a "conflict of interests" at BCCI headquarters on Monday. Several former cricketers are also expected to attend the meeting. There will be at least one member of the Committee of Administrators (COA). He is expected to have a long discussion on this issue. The COA, headed by Vinod Rai, includes other members Diana Idulji and retired Lt Gen Ravi Thodge. Former Indian batsman Dilip Vengsarkar and fast bowler Ajit Agarkar will participate in the meeting.

Even VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid are expected to join it. However, it is learned that Sachin Tendulkar will not attend the meeting. Former Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh will not be present at the meeting on Monday but has written to the Board of Governors on the issue. Recently, former Indian captain, Dravid was served a notice of 'clash of interests'.

He had also replied to the notice. According to a complaint filed by Sanjeev Gupta, honorary member of Madhya Pradesh Cricket, Dravid is a member of the National Cricket Academy and is also holding the post of Vice-President of India Cements Group, whose IPL franchise is Chennai Super Kings. The COA clarified Dravid's appointment as the NCA's cricket chief and dismissed the case of a "clash of interests" against him. Several former cricketers had targeted the board over the issue.
