BCCI announces India women's ODI and T20I squads, releases schedule

New Delhi: Indian women's cricket team will be seen showing their game in the field again from March 7 after almost a year-long arsenal. The BCCI has announced the Indian women's team along with the release of the schedule of the India-South Africa series on Saturday. The All India Women's Selection Committee has announced the squad for India's upcoming Paytm ODI and T20 series against the women of South Africa.

The upcoming bilateral series will feature five ODIs and three international T20 matches. All these matches will be played at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana International Stadium in Lucknow. The women's team of South Africa is coming on a tour of India. Both teams will play five ODIs from March 7–17 and three T20s from March 20–23. Before the lockdown, the Indian women's team played their last match against Australia on March 8, 2020. The women's team, which finished first in the final of the T20 World Cup, was the runners-up here.
