New Delhi: The auction dates for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) have surfaced, as well as two new teams that could be included this season. The Cricket Controversial Board of India (BCCO) is likely to float a tender by next month (August). This is expected to earn big money for BCCI. According to media reports, BCCI may float tenders for two new teams in August. Two new teams of IPL are likely to be available by October. Goenka and Adani Group are at the forefront of buying IPL franchises. The number of matches will increase after the induction of two new teams. The BCCI is likely to float tenders on media rights in January next year. According to the report, BCCI may have a mega auction in December. That is, the players will be auctioned. Each team will be able to retain four players. But a condition has been laid down for that. The four players to be retained must include three domestic and one foreign player. Otherwise, it has been made mandatory to have two domestic and two foreign players.

BCCI is going to increase the salaries of the teams during the auction. Earlier a franchise used to get Rs.85 crores. But now, it has been increased by five crores. In all, now, this amount has been increased to Rs. 90 crores On the other hand, when it comes to 10 teams, there will be an increase of Rs.50 crores. Now, at the time of auction, each team will have to spend 75 per cent of the money. This amount will continue to increase in the near future also. 95 crore in the next 2 years and Rs.100 crore to each franchise thereafter. According to the rules, a IPL team consists of 25 players. But with the addition of 2 new teams, a maximum of 50 new players will get a chance to play in the IPL. A team can have a maximum of 8 foreign players. The two new teams will include 34 domestic and 16 foreign players.
