On Monday Supreme Court nominated Comptroller and Auditor General Vinod Rai as a new BCCI ( Board of Control for Cricket Team) chief. Rai will be heading the four-member team of an administrator, who will run the Indian Cricket Board.

This was due to continuous spread of rumors about the corruption running on the sports board. Other members of the team are, Historian Ramachandra Guha, IDFC managing director Vikram Limaye and Former Indian women's cricket team captain Diana Edulji.
