BCCI Approves New Constitution of this State Cricket Association

Jaipur: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has approved the new constitution of Rajasthan Cricket Association. The BCCI has restored RCA recognition after five years. Now RCA elections will be held afresh and Rajasthan cricket talent will get better opportunities. RCA President Dr CP Joshi had promised to hold IPL matches and lift the ban from BCCI after being elected as a president.

IPL matches have been held and the ban of BCCI has also been removed. Talking to the media, Joshi said that we had made a change in the constitution considering the terms of the BCCI. This has been approved by the BCCI. After this, Rajasthan will also be represented in BCCI. RCA was banned on 6 May 2014. At that time Lalit Modi became the President of RCA.

Due to the ban, RCA could not get any financial support from the BCCI nor was the IPL matches taking place. After being elected president in 2017, Dr Joshi resumed IPL matches in the year 2018 and now its recognition has also been restored. Let me tell you that Lalit Modi is running out of the country on charges of financial disturbances. Lalit Modi is credited for starting the IPL in the country.
