BCCI requests ICC, not to place India with Pakistan in any International Events

Anurag Thakur, BCCI President and also a top leader of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), said on Friday that BCCI would ask the ICC not to put India with Pakistan in the same group of any ICC event. The President of the Board has also reportedly in earlier times ruled out completely for any format of cricket between Pakistan and India.

On the reports and applications that were send to ICC from BCCI regarding the venue of international cricketing events should not be ever be held in Pakistan. Also the BCCI said that India should not be placed with Pakistan in any of the group stages of any ICC event. The President took the action after the Uri attacks and after the growing tension between the two Nation.
