New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has asked for new applications for selectors of senior men's team and senior women's team. Applications have been sought for two posts for men's senior and junior select committee and five posts for women's committee. Recently, the team was to be announced for the Indian team's tour of New Zealand, in which only the T20 team was announced.

The selection committee headed by MSK Prasad will also announce the ODI and Test team for the tour. It is expected that this announcement should be made on Sunday itself. This first select committee will be set up under the BCCI chairmanship of Sourav Ganguly. Ganguly also spoke about the selection of the Cricket Advisory Committee. Applicants for these three classes have retired at least five years before the game. With this, for the post of selector for the men's team, the applicant has played at least seven Test matches, 30 first-class matches or 10 ODIs and 20 first-class matches.

Along with this, the contender for the post of selector of senior women's team has represented the women's team. For the men's junior team, he should have experience of playing 25 Tests. The last date for application is 24 January.
