New Delhi: Team India has once again thrashed the West Indies. In the third match of the five-match T20 series, India won by 7 wickets. Thus, the Blue Brigade has taken a 2-1 lead in this series. But, this third match has also brought out a piece of bad news for the fans of Team India.

In this match, Team India came down to chase the target of 165 runs. Skipper Rohit Sharma came out to open the innings. He played 5 balls and hit a six and a four. He was just playing at 11 runs when he started having some trouble. The medical team came to the ground and checked up Rohit. Rohit was having some pain in the groin, as well as a muscle strain. Rohit did not feel well, so he retired and came out of the ground with the medical team. After this, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has given an update on Rohit's health in a tweet.

The BCCI has said that captain Rohit Sharma is suffering from tightness in his groin and the medical team is examining him. After the match, captain Rohit Sharma did not say much about his injury. They further said "At the moment, he's a little fine. We have some time before the fourth match of the series. In such a situation, the injury is expected to get healed.''
