Because the work that Pooja did in the blockbuster film Allu Arjun starrer 'Ala Vaikunthapurramulu' is most promising.
On this, Nelson Dilipkumar says that when we have finalised the cast for Beast, then the movie Ala Vaikunthapurramulu was also released at that time. In that movie, Pooja did a great job and won the hearts of the people at the national level. I wanted a couple that was new and fresh. There was a need for an actress who has never worked with Vijay sir. Keeping all these things in mind, Pooja was perfectly fit for the character of my movie. She is a hardworking artist and even though Tamil is not her native language, she has learnt the language and has spoken her own lines.
The movie 'Beast' is written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures. The music of the movie has been given by Anirudh Ravichander. Starring Thalapathy Vijay, the lead cast is Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan Yogi Babu, Lilliput Faruqui and Ankur Ajit Vikal. Beast will release on April 13, 2022. It is scheduled to be released by UFO Movies in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu across North India on the same day.
