Lucknow: A young man from the Kotwali area of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh has started blackmailing a mother by sending obscene pictures of her daughter. The accused youth says that according to the religion of Islam, either get your daughter married to me or give Rs 5 lakh to get rid of this. If not done, I will defame your daughter and family by making her obscene pictures viral. On the complaint of the mother, the Kotwali police registered a case of extortion, molestation, and threats against a young man named Shahzad and started interrogating him.
According to the report, Inspector Kotwali Randhir Mishra has informed that the search for the accused is on and he will be arrested soon. In a complaint given to the police, the mother of a girl student living in a locality of Kotwali area has told that a young man named Shahzad living in her neighborhood has been harassing her daughter for the past one year. He often teases the daughter and does obscene acts with her. Shahzad has taken out the daughter's picture from her social media account and then edited it and made it obscene. By sending those obscene pictures to me, he is threatening the family to get the daughter married according to the religion of Islam, or else I will make the obscene photos viral.
Not only this, when the relatives of the girl student tried to convince the young man, he started blackmailing her. He says that if you give 5 lakh rupees, I will leave your daughter. Otherwise, the result will be very bad. Now the mother has complained about him to the police.
