Kabul: Security has been steadily deteriorating since the Taliban the terror group captured Afghanistan. In such a situation, the situation of minority Hindus and Sikhs is deteriorating along with the majority of the society living there. However, even before the government collapsed, their situation in Afghanistan was very bad. Meanwhile, a report now says that Sikhs have to make choices amid options to convert to Sunni Islam or flee Afghanistan. The report comes at a time when Taliban fighters entered the Gurdwara in Kabul a few days ago.

The International Forum for Rights and Security (IFFRAS) said, "For a time, the Sikh community had been in Afghanistan in many thousands. But they are in a bad shape due to migration and killings from Afghanistan. This is due to systemic bias and radical violence in Afghanistan.'' A large number of Sikhs live in the capital Kabul, while some live in Ghazni and Nangarhar provinces.

On October 5, 15 to 20 Taliban militants entered the gurudwara and took the guards hostage. The attack took place in the Kare-e-Parwan district of Kabul. Sikhs and Hindus in Afghanistan usually face such attacks and violence.
