Beef row: Rajasthan police register case against student who spread beef rumour

Rajasthan:The four Kashmiri student of Mewar University, Chittorgarh have beaten for rumours of cooking beef in college campus.Today, the police have filled  case against a local student who was the administrator of asocial media group which was to extension rumours about Kashmiri students.The four,Shakib Asfraf, Hi lal Farukh, Mohammad Makbool and Shaukat Ali ,who had been beaten up by a mob and later arrested.

Meanwhile,on Thursday regretted having eaten goat meat.

The animal husbandry department of Chittorgarh said,”the meat was mutton and not beef. But the private campus bars any non-vegetarian food.”

On Wednesday, All four got bail with warning that they would remain under watch for six months.

P K Khamesra(SP)said, "Guarav, administrator of the social media group , Chittorgarh Today — used to spread the beef rumour."
