New Delhi: On Tuesday, the Delhi Police arrested a 30-year-old man for allegedly harassing a Belgian tourist. The woman left the national capital within a day. Further investigation in the case is underway. As per source reported that the woman was harassed last year in December, after which she informed the Belgian embassy about the incident.
Meanwhile, the police mentioned that the accused was arrested and was identified as Imran Latha, he hailed from Khayyam Chowk in Srinagar. Accused was arrested from Delhi's east Vinod Nagar. Reportedly, after investigation, the police learned that the accused is a travel agent, who also owns a shop in NDMC market in the outer circle of Connaught Place. Imran along with his brother made a plan to harass the Belgian national.

However, Source report further claimed that the both interacted with her and duped her by selling a cheap hotel package and made her believe that her original booking was cancelled because of protests near the hotel. However, the police have registered an FIR in the case under Delhi Prevention of Touting and Malpractices Act and section 420 of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
