New Delhi: England all-rounder Chris Woakes, who recently withdrew from the second leg of IPL 2021 due to personal reasons, withdrew. Woakes was involved in the Delhi Capitals. The franchise has replaced Woakes with Australian pacer Ben Dwarshuis on Monday. The 27-year-old left-arm pacer Dwarshuis is yet to represent the international team. He has taken 100 wickets in 12 and 82 T20Is in 7 List A matches.

Delhi Capitals on Monday said they will soon join the team's bio-bubble in UAE. Let us tell you that Ben plays new South Wales in List A cricket while Sydney plays for Sixers in the Big Bash League (T20 tournament). He is sixth in the list of highest wicket-takers in the league. He has taken 85 wickets in 69 matches. He has earlier played for Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) team.

Woakes withdrew from the second leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL) citing personal reasons along with his england teammates Jonny Bairstow (SRH) and David Malan (PBKS). The three players were part of the recently concluded Test series against India.
