Kolkata: The body of a BJP worker has been found in the state capital Kolkata amid Union Home Minister Amit Shah's two-day visit to West Bengal. According to the information, the body was hanging from the noose. The deceased has been identified as Arjun Chaurasia, a resident of Kashipur assembly. The deceased Arjun was the vice-president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Yuva Mandal Morcha. The BJP has accused the Trinamool Congress (TMC) of murder.

However, rejecting the BJP's allegations, TMC MP Shantanu Sen said, "The allegations against us are baseless. Let the police investigate the matter. Police said that investigation of the incident is on. At the same time, the party has condoled the murder of a 27-year-old BJP worker. Issuing a statement on behalf of the party, it has been told that all programs of Amit Shah's reception in Kolkata have been canceled. Another senior BJP leader has told that the Home Minister got angry after hearing this news. He asked to cancel his grand reception at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Airport. It is being told that Amit Shah will also meet the family of the deceased BJP worker.

At the same time, BJP President of North Kolkata Kalyan Choubey says that Arjun was completely healthy. He had also planned to organize a rally of 200 bikes under his leadership last night, but this morning he was found dead at Ghosh Bagan Rail Yard. After much uproar, BJP workers allowed the dead body to be taken away. The entire area has been sealed by the police of Chitpur police station. The scientific team of the Intelligence Department of Lalbazar area is investigating on the spot.
