NEW DELHI: The Bengal Warriors defeated Puneri Paltan in a tough match of PKL 2019 in Monday's match. The Bengal Warriors slammed Puneri Paltan with the strength of Maninder Singh's impressive performance. The Bengal team was heavy from start to end and won by a score of 43-23. Bengal's dominance can be gauged from the fact that he won with a huge lead of 20 points.

Maninder scored 14 red points alone. Apart from him, no other Bengal player could reach double figures. Mohammed Nabibaksh scored eight points. Sushant Sil, Manjeet, and Girish Maruti Irnak scored three points each for Paltan. The Bengals had taken a 4-1 lead in the second minute. He led the lead to 12-5 in the 10th minute and then ended the first half with 18-9. Puneri Paltan's team never looked in the match against Bengal.

In the second half, the Bengals failed to let go of their lead and put a total of 25 points, while Palton's team managed to score only 14 points. In a span of a few minutes, the Bengals bowled Pune twice. Pune has suffered its second consecutive defeat and the Pune team, which is coaching former Indian captain Anoop Kumar, is not in any light. On the other hand, Bengal made a strong comeback after losing to Jaipur in the bi-match. Earlier in the day, Patna Pirates defeated Tamil Thalaiwaj 24-23 in a close match.
