Gorgeous actress Priyanka Bhattacharjee, a Bengali actress who had been away from the Bengali small screen, has returned. The lovely actress has joined the cast of 'Aparajita Apu,' a television show. Priyanka was recently featured in the daily serial 'Seemarekha,' where she played a negative role and received praise for her performance.

In 'Aparajita Apu,' Priyanka plays the role of Sunaina, a modern girl. Sunaina has a deep place for her (Apu's) dearest spouse Deepu, and her arrival will undoubtedly bring chaos in protagonist Apu's life.

Aparjita Apu's time slot has been changed in the meanwhile. From next week, a new show titled 'Lokkhi Kakima Superstar,' featuring Aparajita Adhya and Deb Sankar Halder, will take over the show's time slot. Priyanka was absent from Bengali television after the TV serial 'Seemarekha,' which starred Indrani Halder in a dual role opposite Abhishek Bose and Diya Mukherjee.
