Sohini Banerjee, well known for her role in 'Aloukik Na Loukik,' has landed a new show. In the upcoming television drama 'Uron Tubri,' the actress will play the lead role among an ensemble cast. Tubri's role will be played by Sohini in the show. And, as her name indicates (a type of firecracker), the actress will play a brave girl in the show who isn't afraid to raise her voice when needed.

Young actress Soume Chatterjee, who earlier appeared in the hit daily serial 'Krishnakoli,' would play Neel Bhattacharya-Tiyasha Roy's reel daughter Krishna in the new show. Uron Tubri's narrative follows a single mother who must overcome several challenges in order to care for her three kids. To make a life, she and her daughters run a roadside food kiosk. Laboni Sarkar, a senior artist, will play the mother in the show, while Sohini, Sukanya Basu, and Soume will play her daughters. The concert will also include Rii Sen. Her character is tinged with uncertainty.

The Bengali audience is familiar with Sohini. In 'Uron Tubri,' viewers will witness Sohini in an entirely new persona. The actress is presently rehearsing for the next play. In the film 'Kikore Bolbo Tomay,' Sohini played Krushal Ahuja's reel sister. She starred in the detective TV serial 'Aloukik Na Loukik,' which was created by Prosenjit Chatterjee. A group of young performers played important parts in the limited-run TV show.
