Bengaluru to Puducherry buses to run from Oct 23

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will resume its operation to Puducherry from October 23. The existing services were stopped due to corona virus pandemic outbreak lock-down. Due to the relaxation in the regulations and the lockdown has been partially revoked, KSRTC would restart its operations in the route Bengaluru- Puducherry depending on the passenger density.

KSRTC has a ultra modern buses in its garage for the journey. Karnataka is one among the top states with technically advanced bus facilities in omni bus category. Its Rajahamsa, Karuda are well known and compete well with private omni buses. The number of passengers allowed in a bus is not revealed. Passengers are asked to wear mask. The government will take all precautionary measures and will sanitize the bus before and after every journey.

Earlier, the nearby Tamil Nadu state has restarted its omni bus services this week, for instructions to strict adherence on COVID-19 prevention protocols. Bengaluru, an elctronic Hub of India has people from multi-states. The bus transport resumption to Puducherry is welcomed by people.
