Bengaluru: On Tuesday night, an agitated mob vandalized the police station and the residence of Congress MLA in Pulakeshi Nagar, Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. The incident has taken place after an alleged relative of the MLA shared a post related to the communal issue on the Internet. In this case, police said that a large number of people gathered near the residence of MLA Akhand Srinivas Murthy and vandalized and burnt the vehicles parked there. An agitated mob targeted the station thinking that the police had taken the accused in custody.

The angry mob tried to target a temple, but some people stood up in front of it. Because of this, the temple has been saved from any kind of damage. Many of its videos are becoming viral on social media. A 19-second video is being greatly appreciated on social media.

In this video, it can be clearly seen that violent mob is seen moving ahead to target the temple, but some Muslim people stopped them from doing so by creating human chains. In this viral video, you can also hear that people are saying- "Do not do this for the sake of Allah". The violence erupted when the accused, who described himself as a relative of the MLA, shared a post on social media, which provoked people of a sect. The MLA appealed to the people of the community not to do violence. He said in the video message, "I appeal to the Muslim brothers that we should not indulge in violence due to the mistakes of some miscreants. There is no need to fight. We are all brothers. We will punish the culprits according to the law. We are also with you. I appeal to my Muslim friends to maintain peace".
