For some, Valentine's Day is all about flowers and chocolate hugs and kisses, right? But here I have brought you something unique that is about watching films that make you cry, laugh, rage, sob and ultimately believe in the undying power of love again (roughly in that order). These must-see movies are guaranteed to mess with your heart in the best possible ways.

"TITANIC"

Yup, we're starting this list with a heavy hitter. Titanic somehow took a five-day romance aboard a doomed ocean liner and turned it into one of the most beautiful, sweeping love stories ever to grace the silver screen.

"PRIDE AND PREJUDICE" (2005)

Another one is Jane Austen's classic novel is on every list of most-cherished books because the romance between Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy is simply unforgettable. 

"BECOMING JANE"

Around the time she wrote the book, Austen penned a letter to a friend about dancing and flirting with a poor Irish lawyer named Tom Lefroy. There isn't much more to go on historically — other than an admission from Tom later in life that he had fallen in "boyish love" with the author — so this film fills in the blanks. And ooooooh, the feels. The movie turns Austen's passing mentions into a heart-wrenching romance you won't soon forget.

"SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE"

Great writers obviously make great stories for romantic dramas. Shakespeare in Love gives William Shakespeare a relationship of his own — though this one is completely imagined.

"LOVE ACTUALLY"

Many fans think of Love Actually as more of a Christmas movie, but seeing as how this flick follows eight interconnecting romances, I'm calling it a V-Day must-watch.

"TWILIGHT"

When a dashing new boy named Edward arrives at Bella Swan's little school in the middle of nowhere just generally being irresistible, it's only a matter of time before Bella develops a crush. Once they fall in love, Bella refuses to let anything interfere — not even the fact that Edward is an immortal vampire.
