New Delhi: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) DG Kuldeep Singh, while addressing a press conference today, said that CRPF personnel have eliminated 167 terrorists and arrested 182 in the last one year. In addition, 244 weapons were seized. He said we've had good success. The violence has intensified, but we have responded immediately. There have been murders of sarpanches and CRPF jawans, but look, we managed to arrest the killer and there was no encounter recently.

He said no decision has been taken so far regarding the screening of Kashmir files for CRPF personnel. But it is certain that if a film or drama motivates, it can be seen. The CRPF DG said that several CRPF camps are running at the homes of Kashmiri Pandits. I think the atmosphere is conducive for visitors to come, but as far as Kashmiri Pandits are concerned, they need to decide for themselves.

DG Kuldeep further said that many of our camps and headquarters in the Kashmir Valley are running from the houses and temple premises of Kashmiri Pandits. If Kashmiri Pandits say so, we will leave their homes. It is also a matter of protecting their homes. According to me, there is such an atmosphere in the Valley that The Kashmir Pandits can come back. When people are cut off from each other, there is tension, so we take special care in Jammu and Kashmir. We have created a chaupal system so that people can sit together and discuss issues that create tension and the commandant and senior officers sit with them. A solution is not suitable for all people.
