Bengaluru: Former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and BJP MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar are in A bitter war of words erupted on Twitter where the Congress leader called PM Narendra Modi a “chor” (thief) and slammed the Rajya Sabha MP for compromising on ethics to please his “bosses”.

 IEarlier in a Tweet, Chandrasekhar said that it’s time for Siddaramaiah to hug Pakistan PM Imran Khan and military chief Qamar Javed Bajwa like Navjot Singh Sidhu as it is the quickest way to become the favourite of Congress president Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi.

In the response of thisSiddaramaiah said, “it is better to lead a life of Tipu Sultan than like a slave of your bosses like you.” He said, “I am not like your chor Narendra Modi to eat biryani with the PM of our enemy country and also not like you to compromise on ethics to please your bosses."

 

Recently, Sidhu’s convoy came under attack by irate BJP supporters who “gheraoed” his car and pelted tomatoes on the Congress leader’s vehicle when he was in Amethi to campaign for Lok Sabha elections.  

Siddaramaiah, who initiated Tipu Jayanti celebrations in the Karnataka when he was the CM, is known to be a vocal supporter of the Tiger of Mysore.
