Betul: The corona havoc in Madhya Pradesh has now subsided. So far, many districts have been unlocked and preparations have been made for the entire unlock in many districts. Now, amidst all this, orders have been issued to open shops at Kothi Bazar and Ganj main market in Betul district. The shops will open from Monday, June 7. It is reported that shops will be opened all 6 days a week. Recently, in this regard, the administration met last Saturday and after the meeting, a new arrangement has been made to open market shops. Orders have been issued under this arrangement.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday: About 450 shops of wood, furniture, utensils, footwear, clothes, electronic, mobile shops, salons, beauty parlours, tellers will be opened. Out of these, 200 shops are in Kaithi Market and 150 shops are in Ganj. Other shops will be from Sadar and Aharpur.

Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday: About 450 jewellery, grocery, general stores, hardware, construction materials, cycle stores, automobiles and repairing will open.

Let us also tell all of you that under the order issued for the new system, the administration has extended the closure of shops by one hour. Now shops will close not at 4 pm but at 5 pm. This will give time to shopkeepers to pack up goods.

On the other hand, Betul district collector Amanvir Singh Bais said that about 1200 shops in the market have been put in place by creating a new system of eating and closing. Shops of essential commodities like animal feed, flour mill, manure seeds, agricultural implements, photocopies, stationery, flour mill have been put in place for 6 days a week. This will give a one-day gap in opening the shops.
