New Delhi [India], November 8: Director -Producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Wednesday cleared the air over the whispered loving-Romantic scene between Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji in his magnum opus 'Padmavati', saying there was such order in the film.

In this video film co-producer Viacom 18, the director asserted "This movie involved into so many hullabaloos because of some rumor. Rumor is this, in the movie a dream scene has been filmed between Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji. I have already discarded this claim and also specified a written proof of this. Today again, I am saying again through this video that in our movie there is no such scene between Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji, which would spoil the feelings of anyone."
He further insisted that they made the epic -period drama with inclusive honesty and it is a mark of respect to Rani Padmavati's audacity.
"I have been influenced with Rani Padmavati's story from the very beginning. This film is an esteem to her audacity and sacrifice. We have made this film with responsibility and also considered the emotions and dignity of Rajput community," he stated in the video.
Padmavati is based on the legend of Rani Padmini, a Hindu Rajput queen, mentioned in Padmavat, an Avadhi language epic poem written by Sufi poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi in 1540.
The movie, lines up to release on December 1 2017, has run into hullabaloo over its storyline, with some right-wing groups calling it the immoral portrayal of the Rajput queen.
