New Delhi: Taking attack on miscreants who have become violent during Bharat Bandh protest especially in Bihar called by Congress along with opposition parties, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Union Minister condemned the bloodshed being used to instil fear among citizens across the country.

Lashing out Congress and opposition parties He said, “Everyone has a right to protest but what is happening today? Petrol pumps and buses being set ablaze, putting to risk lives. A girl child died after an ambulance was stuck in the protests in Bihar's Jehanabad. Who is responsible? asked Ravi Shankar Prasad to the agitators.

Worth mention here the agitation in Bihar turned into violent and claimed a life of girl child in Bihar's Jehanabad due to Bharat Bandh.

However, Sub Divisional Officer Jehanabad Paritosh Kumar denied the reports that a 2-year-old patient died after the vehicle was stuck in Bharath Bandh protests and said the death of the child is not related to bandh or traffic jam, the relatives had left late from their home.

The grand old Congress party has called for a country-wide bandh on Monday in order to protest against the PM Narendra Modi led NDA government over the rising fuel prices. However, the leader of BJP came in front of media and called this Bandh political drama while Rahul Gandhi and Manmohan Singh accused the silence of prime minister on sensitive issues like atrocities and historic hike in petrol and diesel prices.
