A further step has been taken in India with the vaccine of Kovid-19. In India, Biotech has also proposed to the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) to approve the trial of the Nasal vaccine in the country. Where India Biotech is also making covaxin in the country. According to the information received, if the Nasal vaccine succeeds in the trial, then there can be a great success in the ongoing war against Kovid in the country. It is worth noting that this vaccine is not given on the shoulder but through the nose, research has found that it is more effective.

It has been learned that Bharat Biotak in collaboration with Washington University is investigating the Nasal vaccine, and has prepared it. In such a situation, permission has been sought for the first and second phase trials in India. According to the company, initially, its trial is going to be done in cities like Nagpur, Bhubaneswar, Pune, and Hyderabad. It is also being said that people from 18 to 65 years will be taken as volunteers for the trial of this vaccine so that the trial is going to be done successfully.

How effective, how it will work ?: It has been known that vaccines that have come in the market so far or those which have been approved in India are given by injection on the shoulder. However, a nasal vaccine is given through the nose. At the same time, it is also being said that vaccination in this way is more effective. Because most of the infections are likely to go through the nose, as well as getting the vaccine from here, there is an effect on the upper-lower limb, which will prove to be effective.

It was also claimed by Bharat Biotech that they have proved more effective in the investigation they have done regarding the Nasal vaccine. If it comes successfully in the market then it will prove to be a game-changer in the fight against covid in the country. Till now a total of two vaccines have been approved for use in India. The first is Covishield of Serum Institute of India, while the second is Biovotech of India Biotech. Large-scale vaccination may soon begin in the country, with a nationwide dry run taking place on Friday.
